Top 8 Girls Song Choice List
It was do or die (well, not quite as drastic as death) as the Top 8 girls performed for a spot in the finals. Most of the ladies seemed to pick the right songs for themselves this week.

The girls are back, all eight of them. “Eight girls. One dream,” Ryan reminds us. “Tonight they fight to make it into the top twelve. This is ladies’ night, and this is American Idol!”

The morning after Janell Wheeler, Ashley Rodriguez, Joe Muoz and Tyler Grady were eliminated from Season 9 of American Idol, they opened up about their American Idol experience on a press call.
Janell Wheeler was eliminated on the Top 24 results show, but has a positive outlook on the Idol experience and her future. All ten girls were well enough and ready to perform on Wednesday. Although some of the girls still struggled with song choice, others found a song that showed off their talent and uniqueness very well.

Top 10 Guys Song Choice List
Ten guys returned to the stage to perform live for Americas votes. Despite a last minute switch which caused the boys to perform a day early, all ten came prepared with their songs. Some of the guys sang songs from recent years, and others went way back and made old songs new again.

Top 12 Guys Song Choice List
The Top 12 guys took the stage to perform live for their very first time. Just like the girls, the guys performed Top 10 hits from the Hot 100 chart. Some contestants went with out of the box picks, and others stayed within their comfort zones. Either way, there were some great songs performed live on the American Idol stage.
