Season 7's tenth place finalist, Chikezie Eze, turned 26 on September 11th. The former TSA screener at LAX originally auditioned for Season 6 and made it to Hollywood Week. Not one to give up, Chikezie worked hard and came back for Season 7 auditions. The judges were impressed with Chikezie's improvement and he became a Top 24 finalist. Season 6 finalist Phil Stacey turns another year older today. We first met Phil during auditions, when his wife gave birth to their second daughter, McKayla, while he was away. Luckily, he hurried back home with a golden ticket in his hand to meet the new bundle of joy. Benefit Concert Featuring Phil Stacey
Season 6 American Idol finalist Phil Stacey will perform at the Hunger Awareness Benefit Concert on August 20th at 7pm at the United Methodist Church of Brandon, Florida. The show will benefit the Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO). Joni Damico, the center director at ECHO, won a contest a while back which enabled her to meet American Idol finalists including Phil. She told him about her idea for an ECHO benefit concert.
