American Idol Wins Sixth People’s Choice Award
Last night, the 38th People's Choice Awards were held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, home of the Idol finales. Fans had the opportunity to vote over the past few months, and American Idol took home the award for Favorite TV Competition Show!
This is the sixth PCA win for Idol, who also brought home the crystal trophy in 2011, 2010, 2007, 2006, and 2005.

The 10th season of American Idol came to a sensational conclusion tonight as Scotty McCreery was crowned the winner during the live two-hour season finale on FOX. Scotty, 17, from Garner, NC, emerged as America's choice following last night's record-shattering vote, which totaled over 122 million - the highest number in the show's history.
