Season 8's American Idol, Kris Allen, celebrated his 26th birthday on Tuesday, June 21st! Since the husband from Conway, Arkansas became the 2009 American Idol, he's traveled the nation on tour with the Idols, Barenaked Ladies, Maroon 5, Train and more. Kris has released an album, volunteered with Idol Gives Back in Haiti, toured the country to promote his self-titled album, and scored three No. 1s on the Billboard charts.

Kris Allen to Kick Off Idol Gives Back
American Idols Kris Allen will travel to Haiti with the United Nations Foundation to raise further awareness of the countrys continuing needs after last months earthquake. During the Idol results show on Thursday, Feb. 25 8/7c, Kris will perform "Let It Be" and he will share footage of his trip to raise awareness and funds that will benefit those in need via one of this years Idol Gives Back beneficiaries, the UN Foundation.
During the show, viewers will be asked to support the efforts in Haiti ...
