Song List for Inspirational Songs Week
Last week, two people went home in a dramatic double elimination. Only seven singers returned this week to perform for your votes. In honor of this weeks special Idol Gives Back show, the Top 7 performed inspirational songs. Some songs were about believing, some were about persevering, and all of the songs were uplifting.

Top 8 Girls Song Choice List
It was do or die (well, not quite as drastic as death) as the Top 8 girls performed for a spot in the finals. Most of the ladies seemed to pick the right songs for themselves this week.

Top 12 Girls Song Choice List
The Top 12 ladies kicked off the Season 9 live shows with some great song choices. All of the songs performed by the guys and girls this week are Top 10 hits from the Hot 100 chart. A quarter of the girls sang songs by The Beatles. There were many modern song choices and a few timeless songs performed.
