Billboard’s Best of 2011
December is a time for award nominations and year-end lists. Billboard.com has compiled their 2011 year-end charts. An impressive 11 Idol alumi and one judge made the list this year, and most of them appeared on multiple charts. They are: Jennifer Lopez, Scotty McCreery, Kelly Clarkson,Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Crystal Bowersox, Daughtry, Josh Gracin, Fantasia, Lauren Alaina, Mandisa, and Jason Castro.

Scotty’s Single Gives Idol 300th No. 1
He's only been the American Idol for a week, but Scotty McCreery has his first #1 single on the Billboard charts. Scotty's Idol anthem and debut single, "I Love You This Big," reached #1 in its first week on the Country Digital Songs chart. This became the 300th #1 song on the Billboard charts by an Idol alumnus.
In addition, Season 10's top girl, Lauren Alaina, had success on the Billboard charts this week with her debut single, "Like My Mother Does."
