Season 4's American Idol, Carrie Underwood, was nominated for two American Music Awards. She is nominated in the categories of "Favorite Country Music Female Artist" and "Favorite Country Music Album" for her 2009 release, Play On. To date, Carrie has received five American Music Awards.
