Shes done it again! Season 4s American Idol Carrie Underwood added two more awards to her growing collection. On June 9th, Carrie was awarded two CMT Music Awards one for Video of the Year with Cowboy Casanova, as well as the CMT Performer of the Year award for Temporary Home (from Invitation Only). Carrie Underwood Takes Home 5th Grammy
American Idol Carrie Underwood took home her 5th Grammy last night at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. She earned the trophy for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for I Told You So featuring Randy Travis. In addition to taking home a coveted award, Carrie performed Earth Song with Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Celine Dion, and Smokey Robinson as a tribute to Michael Jackson at last nights award show. Last night, the 36th Peoples Choice Awards were held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, home to the last two Idol finales. Fans had the opportunity to vote over the past few months, and the results were announced live on TV. Peoples Choice recently cited that a record breaking 60 million online votes determined the winners.
