Kris Allen Charts at #1 Again
Season 8s American Idol, Kris Allen, charted at #1 for the third time. His debut single, Live Like Were Dying, landed at #1 on Billboards Adult Top 40 Recurrents chart. In April, Kris Allen made his debut at #1 on the Billboard charts when Live Like Were Dying topped the Christian Digital Songs and Christian/Gospel Digital Songs charts.

Shes done it again! Season 4s American Idol Carrie Underwood added two more awards to her growing collection. On June 9th, Carrie was awarded two CMT Music Awards one for Video of the Year with Cowboy Casanova, as well as the CMT Performer of the Year award for Temporary Home (from Invitation Only). The Finale Impacts Billboard Charts
Millions tuned in for the Season 9 finale and they liked what they heard. Soon after Lee DeWyze was crowned the American Idol, his version of U2s Beautiful Day went to #1 on the Billboard Rock Digital Chart. This is the new champs first Billboard #1.
