Casey James Lands Record Deal
Cool, TX native Casey James has turned his third place American Idol finish into a record deal with Sony Nashville and 19 Recordings/BNA Records. The musician and singer/songwriter whose been fronting the Casey James Band since 2008, had never even seen a single episode of the top rated show before auditioning in Denver and winning a golden ticket to Hollywood.

The Season 8 American Idol tweeted photos from the video shoot, taken in a beautiful desert where Kris performed his own stunts! While shooting in the California desert, The Truth crew was met by a monsoon which turned the land into quicksand-like conditions.
