From 100,000 contestants to just 2, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen battled it out with a total of 6 amazing performances. The first song each Idol sang was their own favorite performance from earlier this season, the second song was selected for each contestant by Simon Fuller, and the third song is this year's coronation song, which was co-written by Kara DioGuardi.
