Kris Allen Announces New Album
American Idol Season 8 Winner Kris Allen announces today the release of his second album entitled Thank You Camellia, the follow-up to his self-titled debut released in 2009 after winning the American Idol title. Thank You Camellia will be available in both standard and deluxe editions.

Heejun Han was eliminated yesterday on American Idol after he received the fewest votes among the finalists. On the results show, Nicki Minaj took the stage and performed her megahit "Starships" and Season 10 Idol winner and platinum-selling country artist Scotty McCreery returned to perform his newest single, "Water Tower Town." After Scotty's performance, Jimmy Iovine presented him with a platinum record signifying sales of more than one million units for his debut album Clear As Day.

Aerosmith Announces New Album and Tour!
Steven Tyler's iconic band, Aerosmith, announced yesterday that they will soon release their first album in eight years. This announcement came on the heels of an earlier announcement in which it was revealed they will tour North America this summer. The Global Warming Tour kicks off June 16th at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN.
According to the New York Times, the album reunites the band with Jack Douglas who produced some of their most popular albums of the 1970's including Get Your Wings...
