American Idol is back with a vengeance! It’s the first year without Paula, which doesn’t concern me too much, and the last year with Simon, which concerns me a great deal. Ryan, however, looks totally unconcerned about anything except for the gloomy weather in Boston, MA, and so we begin.

Jason Castro’s New EP is Now Available
Season 7s laidback musician, Jason Castro, released his first EP today. Titled The Love Uncompromised EP, Jason has put together five songs four previously-unreleased songs plus an acoustic version of his single Lets Just Fall In Love Again. Jennifer Hudson to Perform at the White House
Superstar and formal Idol finalist Jennifer Hudson will perform at the White House on February 10, 2010. She will be singing at the Celebration of Music from the Civil Rights Movement event, which focuses on music that captures the struggles of the Civil Rights Movement. Blake Lewis Announces his Next Single
Season 6s runner-up, Blake Lewis, released his sophomore album, Heartbreak on Vinyl, in October. He announced today that the next single he will be releasing is the record's title track.
