The first American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, will sing the national anthem as part of the Super Bowl XLVI pregame festivities at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Sunday, Feb. 5, the NFL announced today. Season 8's third place finalist, Danny Gokey, was married this past Sunday in Florida to fianc Leyicet Peralta. It was only announced that the two were engaged on Christmas day. Get details about his engagement here.
