Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez are American Idol's Top Two finalists. After a season-high of nearly 90 million votes, host Ryan Seacrest announced that Joshua Ledet received the fewest number of votes and was eliminated from the competition.

Remembering Donna Summer
The music world lost a legend today with the passing of Donna Summer. The Disco Diva inspired many American Idol finalists - including two winners - who performed her songs on the show. Donna was even a guest judge during Season 3's Top 4 Disco night on American Idol. During the Season 8 finale, just 3 years ago this week, Donna performed on stage with the Season 7 girls.
