Thanks to you, American Idol fans, we broke a TV record in the social media world. According to Forbes.com and BluefinLabs.com, there were 518,000 comments on social media sites about American Idol. That's over 100,000 comments more than the previous social TV record. Drum roll, please! Season 11 of American Idol is underway, and as judge Steven Tyler put it, "Hold on...it's gonna be quite a ride!"
This is our very first year with auditions in Savannah, Georgia. Thousands of hopefuls lined up for their chance at a Golden Ticket, some even quitting their jobs for a once-in-a-lifetime chance at stardom.
