Kris Allen has won the Season 8 Finale of American Idol.
Shock filled the Conway, AR 23 year-old Kris Allen as Ryan Seacrest announced the American Idol Season 8 winner. It could not have been more of a surprise. He did manage to thank his fans after insisting that Adam deserved the honor and that he had captured. The night was not without surprises and entertainment. At the top of the list were a Bikini Girl (a.k.a. Katrina Darrel)/Kara DioGuardi flashfest, Adam Lambert sings with Kiss, Norman Gentle (a.k.a. Nick Mitchell) sings, Tatiana Del Toro gets escorted from the stage (okay it was so fake), and the Black Eyed Peas and Carlos Santana performed. Here’s a few clips:
