Some of your favorite American Idol finalists have appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ellen invites the most recently eliminated contestants to her show each week and she sits down and interviews them right before they perform. Often times, the American Idol-fan-turned-judge invites past winners and the judges onto her program. Since Ellen is good friends with Ryan Seacrest, he often stops by her show, and he even brought his mom Connie on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for Mother's Day. As an admitted fan of American Idol, Ellen now gets the best seat in the house on one of her favorite shows.
