Lacey Brown celebrated her 25th birthday on Friday. The Season 9 twelfth place finalist knows not to give up. Lacey auditioned for Season 8 of American Idol and made it all the way to the final step of auditions. She was asked to have a sing-off for the judges with Megan Joy, and although Megan was put through to the Top 36, Lacey went home and practiced and soared into the Top 24 of Season 9. America voted, and Lacey was safe each week of the semifinals. Although Lacey was eliminated in twelfth place, she is keeping the dream alive by performing at many special events. Shes still close with nearly everyone from her season, and Paige Miles remains one of her best friends.
