Haley Scarnato was the eighth place finisher on Season 6 of American Idol. During her time on American Idol, Haley wore shorts while singing on stage, which Simon Cowell said was a smart move by her. Whether it was her legs or her voice, Haley made it far enough in the competition to be able to spend the summer of 2007 touring the country with her fellow Top 10 Idols.
In April 2008, Haley released her first single, Girls Night Out. Although she never released a CD, she spent that summer performing with the concert series Americas Favorite Finalists which included Idol alums Scott Savol, Brandon Rogers, Carmen Rasmusen, RJ Helton, and Vonzell Solomon
Haley remains close to some of her Season 6 friends, and she was even a bridesmaid in Gina Glocksen’s wedding.
