Season 6s Gina Glocksen celebrated her 26th birthday on the 4th of July. Gina originally auditioned for Season 5 of American Idol, but she didnt make it onto the show. When she returned for Season 6, the Illinois native impressed the judges and made it onto the show. With her boyfriend Joe who is now her husband and her good luck charm Pickle by her side, Gina made it to 9th place.
The resident rocker brought the energy up each week, and never landed in the bottom until her Top 9 week elimination. During Season 7 of American Idol, Gina was a co-host on "American Idol Extra" with Constantine Maroulis. With her band, the Gina Glocksen Band, the Season 6 finalist performs many shows in Illinois.
