Season 4 American Idol Carrie Underwoods latest single, Temporary Home, is now her 12th #1 single of her career. Its also the second chart-topper from Carries Platinum-certified album, Play On. The track made it to the top of Billboards Hot Country Songs chart in just 18 weeks, which is faster than any other single this year.
Temporary Home is one of the seven tracks that Carrie co-wrote for her third album, and its her fifth co-written single to top the charts. On Carries website she said that the song is hopeful, and each person in each story, in each different place in their life, knows that things are going to be okay.
