Allison Iraheta, the vibrantly red-haired rocker who became the top female finalist on American Idol Season 8, released her new single Dont Waste The Pretty to radio. The version on the radio features guitar goddess Orianthi, who performed earlier this year on a Season 9 results show and performed with the Top 12 and Alice Cooper at the Season 9 finale, and it became available on iTunes today!

Allison Irahetas debut album, Just Like You, was released in late 2009 on 19 Recordings/Jive Records. She returned to the Idol stage during the first live results show of Season 9, and again during the finale to sing Together We Are One with fellow Idol alumni. Take a look.
